At 23:22 on 22 July, four fire engines from Tarleton, Penwortham, Chorley, and Leyland attended a fire in the open on Liverpool Road, Bretherton. Firefighters used two hose reels, and one thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire. They were in attendance for one and a half hours.
