Three fire engines from Blackpool and South Shore attended a fire involving an oven in a ground floor flat on Woodfield Road in Blackpool. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus rescued one casualty from the building who was treated by ambulance crews. The fire was extinguished using one hose reel and a ventilation unit.
