Two fire engines from Preston and Penwortham were called to a house fire on St Cuthbert’s Close, Preston. Firefighters rescued two casualties from the mid terraced property, who were conveyed to hospital by ambulance. The fire was extinguished using two hose reels, one jet and four breathing apparatus. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
