Two crews from Colne attended a domestic building fire on Peel Gardens, Colne. The fire was in the kitchen of the property. Four firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used one hose reel jet and a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire and clear the property of smoke. One casualty was treated at the scene for the effects of smoke inhalation by firefighters prior to the arrival of ambulance crews.
