At 08:10 on the 24th November 2025, one fire engine from Blackpool attended an animal rescue on Stanley park, Blackpool. Blackpool Council's tree team and firefighters utilised a safe working at height system to rescue a owl trapped in tree. The owl was safely handed over to Brambles Wildlife Rescue. Crews were in attendance for one hour and twenty minutes.
