Animal rescue in Preesall
On 29th July 2025 at 18:54, two fire engines from Preesall and Fleetwood attended an incident on Burned House Lane, Preesall. A cow had become trapped in a ditch and firefighters used large animal rescue equipment and strop slings to carry out the rescue. Crews remained at the scene for two hours and twenty minutes.
