On 30th April at 19:07 hours, four fire engines, a water bowser, command unit and a drone from Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service, and two fire engines from North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service, attended a fire on Moor Lane, Roeburndale. The fire involved a barn and whilst in attendance firefighters used four breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, a light portable pump and a ground monitor to extinguish the fire. Five casualties were assessed by North West Ambulance Service at the scene. Crews were in attendance for approximately three hours and thirty minutes.
