On 28th April 2026 at 20:55 hours, three fire engines from Blackpool and South Shore attended a building fire on Reads Avenue, Blackpool. Crews used six breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire and one casualty suffered the effects of smoke inhalation. The fire service remained on scene for approximately two hours.
