At 07:16 on 26th April 2026, three fire engines from Chorley and Bamber Bridge attended a building fire on Folly Wood Drive in Chorley. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for two hours and forty‑five minutes.
