At 07:52 on 14th September 2025, two fire crews from Skelmersdale and Wigan attended a building fire on Lees Lane in Dalton. Crews used small tools, a thermal imaging camera, one hose reel, a gas monitor and positive pressure ventilation to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for approximately one hour.
