At 16:28 on 29 April 2025, two fire engines from Preston and Fulwood attended a building fire on Rutland Street, Preston. Crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish the fire and were at scene for an hour. Crews also provided one dog with oxygen therapy.
