At 11:13pm on 14 May 2026, two fire engines from Hyndburn responded to a fire on Pickup Street, Accrington. The fire involved a caravan and was extinguished by firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and using one hose reel jet. Crews were on scene for two hours.
