At 07:39 hours on 11 February 2026, three fire engines from Bacup, Burnley and Rawtenstall, along with the water bowser from Leyland Fire Station attended a caravan fire on Rochdale Road, Bacup. Firefighters used two hose reel jets and one jet to extinguish the fire. Crews were engaged for two hours and fifty minutes.
