At 16:37 hours on 8th November, three fire engines from Morecambe and Lancaster attended a fire on Mellishaw Park, Heaton with Oxcliffe. The fire involved one touring caravan that was well alight. Fire crews used two hose reel jets and three breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire. Fire crews were detained for approximately one and a half hours.
