At 16:26 hours on 9th March 2026, one fire engine from Lancaster Fire Station attended a commercial premises on Ladies Walk, Lancaster to reports of a chemical spillage in a property. Firefighters made the scene safe using a positive pressure ventilation fan and removed the chemical from the premises. Fire crews were on scene for approximately two hours and ten minutes.
