At 12:18 on 19 October 2026, one fire engine from Nelson attended a domestic premises on Brunswick Street, Nelson. Firefighters extinguished a fire involving the chimney of the property using one hose reel. Fire crews completed a home fire safety check whilst still in attendance and were on scene for approximately one hour and five minutes.
