At 19:17 hours on 14 January 2026, two fire engines and one aerial ladder platform from Tarleton and Preston attended a fire on Church Road, Tarleton, involving a chimney. Firefighters used one hose reel, chimney rods, an Aqua Leader pack, and a Nimnus nozzle to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for approximately two hours.
