At 20:56 on 23rd of September 2025, two fire engines and an aerial appliance from Blackpool and Bispham attended a fire involving a chimney on Ascot Road in Thornton Cleveleys. Firefighters used an aerial ladder platform to inspect the chimney and one hose reel to extinguish the fire. Crews were detained for one hour.
