At 1:48am on the 31st August 2026, three fire engines from Preston and Penwortham attended a commercial building fire on Raglan Street, Ashton-on-Ribble. Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used two hose reels to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for 50 minutes.
