At 19:56 on the 30th October 2026, three fire engines from Preston, Penwortham and Bamber Bridge attended a commercial building fire on Watery Lane, Ashton on Ribble. Firefighters used one thermal imaging camera and a dry powder extinguisher to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for two hours.
