At 06:55 on the 31st March 2026 six fire engines and an aerial ladder platform attended a commercial building fire on Lytham Road, Blackpool. Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used three hose reel jets to extinguish the fire.

There are road closures in place so we ask the public to plan their journeys accordingly and avoid the area, thank you.
