At 00:14 on 16 September 2026, three fire engines from Blackpool and South Shore attended a commercial building fire on the Promenade in Blackpool. Whilst in attendance, crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and a positive pressure ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for approximately one hour.
