At 11:07 on the 16th May 2025, six fire engines from Blackpool, Bispham, Fleetwood and Chorley attended a commercial building fire on Poulton old Road, Blackpool. Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used two main line jets to bring the fire under control.

Update at 14:30: This incident has been reduced to three fire engines, with firefighters monitoring and extinguishing hot spots.
