Commercial building fire in Burnley
At 11:50am on 1 August 2026, three fire engines from Burnley, Nelson and Hyndburn attended a commercial building fire on St James's Street, Burnley. Firefighters used one hose reel, a triple extension ladder, a Milwaukee reciprocating saw and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire. Crews remained in attendance for approximately 40 minutes.
