At 23:29 on April 14th, 2025, three fire engines from Rawtenstall, Hyndburn, and Haslingden, along with the aerial ladder platform from Preston, attended a commercial building fire on Commerce Street in Haslingden. Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used two hose reels, one jet, a triple extension ladder, lighting, small tools, thermal imaging cameras, and ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. Crews were on the scene for around three hours.
