At 09:38 hours on Tuesday 27th January 2026, three fire engines from Leyland, Bamber Bridge and Chorley fire stations attended a commercial building fire on Fox Lane, Leyland. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet and one dry powder fire extinguisher. Crews remain in attendance.
