At 12:03am on Thursday 14 May 2026, three fire engines from Burnley and Nelson attended a commercial building fire on Lloyd Close, Nelson. Crews wore breathing apparatus and used one hose reel to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for 40 minutes.
