At 16:40 on Tuesday 14th July 2026, three fire engines from Burnley, Nelson and Colne attended a commercial building fire on Brook Street, Nelson. Crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and one gas monitor to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for approximately one hour and fifteen minutes.
