At 19:09 on 23rd March 2026, three fire engines from Hyndburn and Blackburn attended an incident on Bridge Lane, Oswaldtwistle. The incident involved a commercial building fire. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, a triple extension ladder, ceiling hook and lighting. Crews were detained two hours and ten minutes.
