At 15:47 on 30 April 2025, three fire engines from Preston and Penwortham attended a fire within in a commercial building on Morr Lane, Preston. The fire was out on arrival. One casualty suffering burns was assessed by fire service trauma technician and handed over to the care of north west ambulance. Crews were in attendance for one hour.
