Commercial building fire in Skelmersdale

At 04:35 on 21 June, six fire engines from Skelmersdale, Ormskirk, Fulwood, and Leyland, including supporting fire engines from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service and Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service, attended a commercial building fire on Holland Moss, Skelmersdale. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one positive-pressure ventilation unit, a thermal imaging camera, and two main jets to extinguish the fire.

Update 06:16 - this incident has now been reduced to three fire engines from Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service.
