At 02:25 hours on 26th September 2025, four fire engines from Leyland, Bamber Bridge and Chorley fire stations along with the drone attended a commercial premises on Dawson Lane, Whittle-le-Woods. Firefighters used two jets to extinguished the fire. Fire crews were on the scene for approximately three hours and twenty five minutes.
