At 13:34 on 11th May 2025, three fire engines from Clitheroe, Nelson, and Colne attended an incident on Howe Walk in Burnley. The fire involved extractor ducting in a commercial property. Firefighters used one hose reel, one hearth kit, a positive pressure ventilation fan, and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire and make the premises safe. Crews were detained for approximately fifty minutes.
