Commercial property fire in Leyland

At 18:34 on 27th October 2025, four fire engines from Chorley, Leyland, Penwortham, and Tarleton, along with an aerial ladder platform and a supporting fire engine from Hyndburn, attended a commercial property fire on Bison Place, Leyland. Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used two hose reel jets, one hose reel, two triple extension ladders, hand tools, a thermal imaging camera, and lighting to extinguish the fire. Crews remained on in attendance for approximately three hours and thirty minutes.
