At 16:34 hours on 28th March 2026, fire engines from Morecambe, Lancaster, Bolton-le-Sands and Fulwood, alongside the command unit, robot and drone, attended a fire in a commercial unit on White Lund Industrial Estate, Morecambe. Whilst in attendance, firefighters used two breathing apparatus and one 45‑millimetre jet. Crews were in attendance for four hours.
