Commercial property fire in Preston

At 17:45 on 17 December 2024, three fire engines from Fulwood, Leyland and Bamber Bridge attended a commercial property on Falkland Street, Preston. The fire involved an electric meter in the basement of the property and was out on the arrival of fire crews. Firefighters used one hose reel, two breathing apparatus, electric fan and a positive pressure ventilation fan to make the scene safe. Crews were on scene for approximately two hours.
