At 03:40 hours on 17th May 2024, the fire service responded to a fire involving a commercial building on Broadway in Rossendale. Four fire engines from Rawtenstall, Haslingden, and Ramsbottom attended the scene. The fire crews used two hose reels and two thermal imaging cameras to extinguish the fire. The fire crews were detained for approximately one hour.
