At 20:45 hours on 11th August 2025, two fire engines from Leyland and Bamber Bridge Stations attended a fire in a cooker at a domestic property on Bannister Drive, Leyland. Firefighters used one hose reel jet and a positive pressure ventilation unit and remained at the scene for approximately forty five minutes.
