At 08:11, four fire engines from Hyndburn, Rawtenstall, and Blackburn attended a fire involving a derelict building on Grange Lane, Accrington. Firefighters used one hose reel, breaking in tools, and a triple extension ladder to bring the fire under control and were in attendance for approximately ninety minutes.
