At 01:39 on 3 October 2024 three fire engines from Burnley and Hyndburn and an aerial ladder platform from Hyndburn and a drone attended a derelict building fire on Holmes Street, Burnley. One jet, one triple extension ladder, one partner saw, and one roof ladder were used to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for several hours.
