At 14:33 hours on 7th June 2026, four fire engines from Chorley, Bamber Bridge, Leyland and Wigan stations attended a derelict building fire at Park Hall Road, Charnock Richard. The building measured approximately forty metres by forty metres and was of timber construction. Firefighters used two jets and remained at scene around three hours.
