Derelict building fire in Preston

On 2nd June at 22:36 hours, three fire engines from Preston, Fulwood and Penwortham attended a fire in a derelict building on Southgate, Preston. Whilst in attendance, firefighters used breaking‑in tools, one hose reel jet, a fire bucket and a triple extension ladder to extinguish the fire and bring the incident to a close. Crews were in attendance for approximately thirty‑five minutes.
