At 16:22, four fire engines from Fulwood, Bamber Bridge and Leyland, together with the aerial ladder platform from Preston, attended a fire involving a derelict building on Preston Road, Clayton. Firefighters used two hose reels, one main jet and breathing apparatus to tackle the fire. Crews remained at the scene for approximately ten hours. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
