At 06:16 on 21st January 2026, three fire engines from Preston and Fulwood attended a fire at a derelict property on Watery Lane, Ashton, Preston. Crews wore breathing apparatus and used one hose reel, and small tools to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for four hours and twenty minutes.
