At 10:03 on 30 September 2025, two fire engines from Blackpool and Fleetwood attended an incident on Bancroft Avenue, Thornton Cleveleys. The fire involved two bins at the front of a domestic property. Firefighters used one hose reel jet and one thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for approximately thirty minutes.
