At 17:09 on the 19th January 2026, three fire engines from Chorley, Blackburn and Darwen attended a domestic building fire on Dick Lane, Brinscall. Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used one hose heel and ventilation unit jet to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for one hour and ten minutes.
