At 9:10 AM on August 2nd, 2025, four fire engines from Preston, Penwortham, Bamber Bridge, and Blackburn attended an domestic property fire on Townley Lane in Penwortham. Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used one hose reel and small tools to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for several hours.
