At 13:53 on 10th October, two fire engines from Hyndburn responded to a domestic building fire on Sharples Street in Accrington. Firefighters used four breathing apparatus, two hose reels and a positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for three hours and 40 minutes.
