At 14:32 hours on 26th April 2026, two fire engines from Hyndburn and Darwen were mobilised to a building fire involving a domestic garage on Branch Road, Lower Darwen, Blackburn. Two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and a ceiling hook were used. Crews were in attendance for approximately one hour.
