At 12:26 on 02 June, three fire engines from Burnley and Nelson attended a domestic building fire on Briercliffe Road, Burnley. Firefighters used one hose reel and a positive-pressure ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. They treated one casualty using a first aid kit before placing them in the care of North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) paramedics. Crews remained in attendance for several hours.
